This 5 Layer Bean Dip is definitely a party potluck favorite! Just 5 easy ingredients and you have yourself a delicious appetizer! This recipe is inspired by my cousin Pati’s amazing “Bean Dip” that no one of knew exactly what was in it… but it’s soooo good!
What you will need!
1 Can of HEB Bean Dip (its the best one) but a can of re-fried beans will do too
1 Large Container of Sour Cream
1 Bag of Shredded Mexican Cheese
1 Packet of Taco Seasoning
2 Tomatoes
1 Avocado
Step 1: Spread the bean dip across the bottom of the tray, pressing down with a spoon so it’s not all bumpy!
Step 2: Mix the sour cream and Taco Seasoning in a bowl, I usually add enough sour cream until all the seasoning is mixed. Then you spread the mixture on top of the beans.
Step 3: Mix the Avocado and (1) tomato in a bowl. Most times I make a guacamole and add in cilantro, onion and lime. It’s your choice!
Step 4: Add the shredded cheese… i love the Mexican blend!
Step 5: Chop (1) tomato and spread is across the top. Again you can add onion and green chilies for taste!
