Dora and the Lost City of Gold is coming to a theater near you on August 9th! I’m sure you remember everyone’s favorite explorer. My daughter watched Dora as a child, so I know her character means a lot to so many! I can just imagine how many teens & tweens are going to be excited to see this movie on the big screen!
The cast is phenomenal, Isabela Moner is played by Dora and her Parents are played by the hilarious Michael Pena and the beautifully talented Eva Longoria. There is actually a long list of Latino actors that have are a part of this film, Benicio Del Toro, Danny Treijo, Adriana Baraza, and the one and only Eugenio Derbez.
I actually had the amazing opportunity to sit down and chat with Isabela (Dora) and Eugenio (Alejandro) about making this movie and why it means so much to them. I truly felt honored to speak with them both. Eugenio is a legend in his own time and treasured by the Mexican community. Isabela, is a smart young and talented actress and I’m sure we will be seeing more of her talents for years to come!
