I’m so glad that I came across these easy make-up brush cleaning tips! I’ve seen the fancy brush cleaners on Instagram and I thought I needed one at first, but after doing some research I found out how easy it is to keep your brushes & beauty blenders clean!
All you need:
Natural White Soap and Warm Water.
I like to use Dove because its unscented and hypoallergenic so it’s really perfect to clean your brushes with and get all the bacteria out! I did get a great tip from my girl Roxy in Houston that sprays a little olive oil on her brushes before cleaning. This is great for getting the heavy caked on makeup that is on the waterproof brushes! The olive oil will help get those brushes clean!
So super helpful! Thanks for the reminder on how important this is to do!
Good tip, I always clean my makeup brushes with a Dawn and vinegar mixture.

I never knew how easy it could be! I ran out of my brush cleaner, but maybe I won’t buy another one, this seems to do the job just as good!
Going to clean my brushes now! It’s been wayyyyy too long.

I want to get my daughter some new makeup brushes because hers are starting to look old and beat up. I think making sure she keeps them clean could be a good way to ensure they don’t wear out so quickly. Showing her these tips could be great because we don’t have a cleaning kit so using a bar of soap would be practical.
