I thought it would be fun to share my favorite Fruit Inspired Jello Shots with you, because I’ve been trying them out lately I have fell in love with a few recipes that I’ll be sharing poolside at our house this summer! What better then having a fruity taste with your favorite alcohol shot of choice! These are super easy to make and even better to enjoy!!!
Strawberry Daiquiri Jello Shots
These are definitely my new favorite!!! I’ve made them a few times while experimenting the recipe and they just keep getting better and better! The trick or biggest tip to making these Strawberry Daiquiri Jello Shots is to only slice a tiny bit off the bottom to get them to stand but not too much because your jello will go right through if you cut too much. They also fit perfectly in a mini muffin pan. So I suggest using that to let them sit while they become a jello dream come true! Here’s the recipe details…
- 1 packet of Strawberry Jello
- 1 lbs. of fresh Strawberries
- 1 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup of Bacardi Rum (or any white Rum)
- Whip Cream & mini limes for topping
Mix strawberry jello and water over medium heat until dissolved. Then add in the Rum and warm it up for a few minutes. Slice a very small tip from the bottom of the strawberry so it can stand on its own, and also slice of the top and hollow out the middle of the strawberry with a paring knife. Place your strawberries in the mini muffin pan and fill with jello mixture. Let is sit for 4-6 hours and then garnish with whip cream and a mini lime wedge! Sooooo Delish!
Pink Lemonade Jello Shots
Another favorite that I had to try out were these Pink Lemonade Jello Shots. They are so easy and fun to make! It’s like a lemonade with a shot of vodka! YUM! Here is the recipe!!!
- 1 Packet of strawberry or watermelon jello. (depends on your preference)
- 6-8 fresh lemons sliced in half
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of Vodka (white or clear)
Scoop out the inside of the each lemon side. Use a knife to cut the edges off then scoop it out with a small spoon. Place each lemon half in a regular size cupcake pan (fits perfect)Â Mix the jello and water over medium heat until dissolved. Then add in the Vodka and warm it up for a few minutes. Fill each lemon half with the jello mixture and refrigerate for 4-6 hours! Once jello is set then slice the lemon halves into wedges! ENJOY!
Buzzed Cherry Bombs
These recipe does not call for jello, but it was too good not to include! And again super easy to make, how can you not have these at your next summer party! Cherries are already pretty awesome on their own, so add in your favorite liquor and some Mexi-Sprinkles and you have the best shots to share.. or not! HA!
- 1 jar of Marichino cherries
- Vodka or Rum (clear)
- White chocolate (melted)
- Sprinkles (I’m using my favorite Mexi-Sprinkles assortment)
Drain all the cherry juice from the jar, then fill the jar with your favorite liquor, I like to use vodka! Let them sit in the refrigerator over night. Then dip the bottom half of the cherry in the the melted white chocolate and dip in the sprinkles! That’s All! I can promise you these will be a favorite at your next party!
I can’t ever say I’ve heard of such a thing, but what a fantastic and neat idea! I’d say the buzzed cherry bombs would probably be my favorite but those strawberries look pretty awesome too! Pink lemonade isn’t my thing, but I think those are super cute! Thanks for sharing!
