Fun & Easy Holiday Crafts!

What’s better then getting together with family during the holidays and doing fun & easy crafts together to celebrate the Christmas season! We had family over during the thanksgiving weekend and we took advantage of the time to make some holiday memories with our goodies from Oriental Trading!

We set the mood with these awesome white snowflake luminary bags! They really created an amazing scene with the snowflakes and left the house feeling very festive! All we did was put multicolored battery powered tea lights and the bag did the rest!

Mariya and Isabel could not wait to jump into the fun! We made personalized ornaments with chalk paint, markers and washy tape! We created holiday picture frames, and even colored our own gift bags to give someone a perfectly wrapped gift!

The girls really loved making their own photo frames! They made two each, one for 2016 and one for 2017! You get all you need in the kit to create the perfect frame! What an awesome gift this will make!

The ornaments were the highlight of the night! The girls had so much fun creating their very own designs with the chalk paint and permanent chalk markers. It was so easy to use on the DIY clear round ornaments from Oriental Trading, and such a great deal 12 ornaments for $11.99!

We added our favorite ribbon inside the ornaments and they came out so perfect!

Our festivities didn’t end there, we snuggled up with a good holiday movie with this DIY Fleece Penguin Tied Throw Blanket! Mariya loves making these blankets, she’s already made two for some of favorite little friends! Everything comes in the kit with directions on how to make the perfect tie blanket… Another great gift idea!
