Nothing puts me in the Christmas mood like seeing beautiful lights and hearing Christmas music! My family and I had so much fun visiting the Don Strange Ranch just out side of San Antonio off IH-10 West in the hill country! The 2 mile display of over 2 million lights is honestly breath taking and the fun doesn’t stop there… Santa’s Village has food, shopping, hot chocolate, a fire pit for smore’s and even some real Texas Longhorns to visit with!
One of my favorite set of lights is the tunnel! There are (3) different sets and it’s so cool to ride in the tunnel of lights, my daughter was memorized by the set-up and design of the lights. You’ll see lights inspired by Cinderella, jumping reindeer, gingerbread houses and of course Santa’s workshop. They even have the lights for the 12 days of Christmas! My daughter loved the Texas star the best!
The stop at Santa’s village was full of fun festivities! Mariya made cookies, we had some delicious snacks and did a little shopping!
The freshly grilled sausages on a stick were so delicious!Ā Mariya enjoyed a cup of Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and my hubby had a bag of freshly popped kettle corn!
There are plenty of awesome vendors to visit while taking pictures with Santa and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Don Strange Ranch! It really has a cozy & comfy feel to it!
CoffeeNEggs and Medley_Handmade can be found on Instagram, they had beautiful ornaments and handmade belts with beautiful designs!
Barking Bad Bakery had the perfect gift for your favorite dog! We had to take some to our girl Daisy and she absolutely loved them! The scarfs are handmade & the treats are gluten free, they also have free shipping with any order!!! You can find them on Facebook and Twitter!
The pictures honestly don’t do it justice, you have to go check out this Christmas Light Fest for yourself, they even have hayrides that you can take for just $15 per person and see the lights up close! Admission to the ranch is just $27 per vehicle and they also have a season pass for only $60 that includes unlimited visits all season long!
