I’m sure you have already heard the words “Mom, I’m bored”! YES…the Summer time chaos has started and I can tell you with a teenager, it doesn’t get any easier! We wanted to make sure that summer vacation time was a good one for both mom and daughter. So we came up with a Teen Summer checklist that was a big help to us both. My daughter likes that she can help with a few chores around the house and still have time to do the things she loves. Honestly putting together this checklist has been a huge help with monitoring screen time and getting chores done!
One thing Mariya loves to do is help with dinner, and Red Baron Classic Crust Pizza is a fun and easy way to get dinner done! I’m happy that she is taking an interest in doing more around the house to help keep things going smoothly over the summer. Along with prepping dinner, she is also doing small chores around the house like cleaning windows and mirrors, putting clothes in the washer/dryer and putting away dishes.
We made sure when we put together the checklist that we included some fun things that she likes to do. A few of her hobbies are taking her own Polaroid pictures, listening to her favorite music on her record player, and making friendship bracelets! I’m so happy that she found a few hobbies that does not involve online activity or being on the phone! See our easy Teen Summer Checklist and share it with your teenager to help them stay on track for the summer!
One thing for sure is Pizza night is always a little less chaotic with Red Baron! A family favorite that everyone agrees on with perfect flaky crust that’s not to thin, and not to thick! Pick up Red Baron Pepperoni or Cheese Classic Pizzas to have on hand for the perfect and easy dinner night!
Oh goodness, you are so pretty. Will definitely be sharing this with my sis, it will come handy for her.
I’ve heard that so many times and we are only weeks into the summer…LOL These are great tips to help avoid boredom. My Kiddies love being creative so I will definitely give the bracelet making idea a try…
Such a good list for summer!
I love that she helps with dinner! My daughter loves to bake. I love that your daughter found creative things to do without screen time – it’s our summer struggle – limiting the screen time!
