One thing I have an obsession for are smoothies! I make all different kinds, the best ones for you are the Green Smoothies but this recipe is a personal favorite! It literally has all my favorite things Strawberries, Bananas, Peanut Butter and Flax Seed!
I started drinking smoothies about 2 years ago, I really wanted to jump start my body and get it use to having healthy fruits and veggies on a regular basis, and let’s be honest.. I’m not going to just eat them everyday! #Truth I found an amazing lady who has an entire book dedicated to Green Smoothies – J.J. Smith is a heaven sent! I’ve attached her Facebook so you can follow along and learn everything there is to know about all the various Green Smoothies and what they do for you. Advice like the best smoothies to have in the morning or which are best for your skin. I have both of her books and they are an endless source of information and support to get you on track with your smoothie game! I’m so glad I clicked on her Facebook ad a few years ago because it’s kept me knowledgeable on maintaining my weight-loss. I do her 10 day Green Smoothie challenges a few times a year. There are 2 versions, one that is a straight smoothie diet and another modified version with 1 meal! Either one is awesome, and lucky for your J.J. Smith is starting a Green Smoothie Challenge this Jan 30! You can join the challenge for free, all you need is her book which has an unlimited amount of smoothie recipes, so it’s well worth it! Click here or on the pic below to find out more about her books!
So onto my personal favorite recipe, and yes this was just me putting all my favorite things in a blender and giving it a go! One of the things I recommend (which I learned from J.J. Smith) is the importance of using flax seeds, it’s an Omega 3- high fiber Super food, basically “good fats” and a spoonful in your smoothie will do wonders!
