Walmart is joining forces with U by Kotex® and they are stepping up to help women all over and put an end to period poverty! When you think about this topic, it’s not the first item that people think to donate… but honestly so many women are in need. Walmart is supporting the nationwide development and expansion of community-based period supply initiatives capable of providing a reliable supply of period products! (Yaaas Walmart)
1 in 4 women struggles to access period products….Together we can change that!
During the entire month of October, for every purchase of U by Kotex – U by Kotex will donate 2 products. Walmart will also be donating $25,000 to the Alliance for Period Supplies. There is a lack of supplies and this program can really help this cause!
Next time you are ordering online, consider purchasing a box of U by Kotex!
I spent some time volunteering at the Texas Diaper Bank and I was so thankful for all the work they do and the help they provide to families! They also make sure that women have access to the period supplies they need! When you purchase U by Kotex at Walmart, these are the places that will receive the donation and provide the support all over the country!
This is a need you don’t often think about. I am so glad Wal-mart is doing something to help!
I had no idea that 1 in 4 women don’t have access to period products. I was aware it was an issue, but haven’t thought it was that bad.
I’ll do my homework to see if there’s a way I can help in my local community – I don’t live in the US, so we don’t have Walmart in Europe.
I honestly did not know that so many women don’t have access to period products. I never thought about donating pads and such but will from now on. So nice that Walmart is helping to end period poverty!
Oh I just love the initiatives! HAppy that Walmart is lending aid to countries where period products are not available.
This is such an admirable cause! At my last company, we did a pad/tampon drive and it was really successful in the office. Small easy way for everyone to get involved!
